Nixon-Nirdlinger Scrapbook chronicles the 1909 cruise taken by Philadelphia resident and theatrical manager Nixon-Nirdlinger and his wife from New York City to France, Spain, Morocco, Italy, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, and Hungary. The scrapbook records various aspects of the early twentieth-century travel business and is particularly rich with theatrical ephemera, indicating Nixon- Nirdlinger’s trip combined theatrical business interests with pleasure.

The Frank W. Tober collection on literary forgery comprises letters, books, pamphlets, journals and journal articles, newspaper clippings, auction and exhibition catalogs, and other ephemera related to literary forgery.
